Several trials were performed to find the precise balance of the GoPro on the gimbal. This effectively required putting the center of gravity of the camera along the center line of the vertical tilt motor. Other cameras will required this adjustment to the drawing. Provided are two variables that assist in making these adjustments in the MountPlate module. The best lateral balance can be achieved by sliding the adjustable arm so the arm almost but does not scrape the handle during swing through.
